500 Portraits

Five hundred fleeting images of one person as one portrait, created and shown in its entirety in Canterbury, then brought to Faversham and gifted to 500 addresses in return for their display in a street facing window for the month of May 2009. This involved the general public in the curation of a show where the work was accessible to everyone, and its long term care was entrusted, not to a great institution, but to many inhabitants of Faversham. A collection in reverse.
